PDJ launches new site The Lockworks to the Wolverhampton community.

PDJ’s brand new venue ‘The Lockworks’ is a four-screen boutique cinema in Wolverhampton’s historic Grade II-listed Chubb Building, once the iconic headquarters of Chubb Locks. The site blends affordable luxury with rich heritage, featuring plush seating, cutting‑edge projection and sound, all within a building that pays tribute to the city’s industrial past.

Promising a premium film experience, from Hollywood blockbusters to independent favourites and everything in-between, The Lockworks cinema is nestled in the centre of Wolverhampton. This historic gem is sure to become a keystone for the city’s vibrant culture and provide the local community with a fantastic hub to meet up with friends or enjoy a date night with that special someone.

Who are PDJ?

PDJ Cinemas is a family-run, independent group of boutique cinemas, with roots going back over five generations and more than 100 years in the industry. A perfect partnership

As well as onboarding PDJ with our POS, Web, Kiosk and Usher tools across all their sites, they also required some specific features from us including an Online Refund feature making it simple for guests to cancel and receive refunds on orders that were no longer required, streamlining the process for customers whilst saving PDJ administrative fees.
