If you work me HF mobile then this is the station
that you worked. My rig is the Yeasu FT 817 running
full bore at 5 watts. The antenna is my home brew
base loaded whip using a wander lead to tune 10
through 40 meters.
I know it ain’t pretty but it sure works for me!

Hey Fred, I love the antenna! If it works, then it’s a thing of beauty. I really miss the fun of real VHF and UHF FM conversation. It’s boring out here in Bullhead City. It seems like a good group on the .700 machine, at least when I was out there for Christmas! I hope I get to say hi next time I make it out to Fontana. 73 and take care.
