Try your hand at creating a picture of yourself or a friend or
a real life villain. Kind of interesting. Try it out.

This is one of their THREE DAY WORK WEEKS that we all pay for.
I am ready to start from the beginning by voting out all elected
officials and not letting any of them stay in office for more than
two terms. No more lifelong healthcare, retirement, voting in
their own pay raises, taking perks on our taxes, etc.

House Minority Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. , R-Norwalk,
pictured standing, far right, speaks while colleagues Rep. Barbara
Lambert, D-Milford and Rep. Jack F. Hennessy, D-Bridgeport,
play solitaire Monday night as the House convened to vote on
a new budget. (AP)
The guy sitting in the row in front of these two…. he’s on Facebook,
and the guy behind Hennessy is checking out the baseball scores.
These are the folks that couldn’t get the budget out by Oct. 1, and
are about to control your health care, cap and trade, and the list
goes on….

Last week marked the 20th anniversary of a photograph.
It’s a very dramatic photo, even though, at first glance,
it’s mostly dark and seems to show nothing at all.
But if you look closely, you can see a tiny speck of light.
That speck is the Earth, seen from very, very, very
far away.
Read on.

It’s lonely in the modern world and this blog does a nice job
of bringing this phenomenon to our attention. Now that the
problem has been identified, a diagnosis should follow soon.
Thank God and try not to laugh too hard at these people.

Maybe naming him Rimbaud wasn’t such a good idea.

The author feels sorry for local news photographers. He feels
they are hugely skilled and poorly paid, and sent out to
photograph miserable people pointing at dog turds so here,
he celebrates their work.
What does the photographer say to the people being
interviewed? O K, look angry for me… Remember, you’re
mad as hell… Check it out

In the late 19th and early 20th century, enigmatic photographer T. Enami (1859-
1929) captured a number of 3D stereoviews depicting life in Meiji-period Japan.
Each stereogram which consists of two pictures was hand tinted as there was
no color photography at the time. Each picture to hand tint was only 1 and 1/2
inches tall. That is pretty tedious and amazing all in one to we here at Admit-one.
Check out the animated versions of the stereograms using the link below.

The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal is 184.5 miles long and is part
of the National Parks Service. Today, according to the N.P.S.,
millions of people enjoy biking and hiking the canal’s towpath.
The canal used to be a lifeline lifeline for communities and
businesses along the Potomac River as coal, lumber, grain and
other agricultural products floated down the canal to market.
One of the more unique features of the canal is the Paw Paw
Tunnel. The tunnel is 3,118 feet long and is lined with over six
million bricks. The 3/4 mile long tunnel saved the canal builders
almost six miles of construction along the Paw Paw bends of the
Potomac River. It took twelve years to build and was only wide
enough for single lane traffic.

I know it’s kind of random but, just wondering if anyone knows
who this is. He turns 40 next year. I’ll bet not many under 30
