Imagine cutting a lemon into four quarters and then
eating them like a delicious navel orange without
flinching or making a sour pucker face. Not too many
people can do this but now you can like the best of them.
When you eat a piece of this strange fruit, it makes
everything sour taste sweet for the next hour or so.
What the heck you say! Read on…

ultimatest grocery list

This is the best pre-formatted grocery list ever created.
Simply print it out, hang it on the refrigerator door and
mark it up before you go to the grocery store. Easy.
But remember the most important thing: Whether you use
this list or your own, always leave your grocery list in the
cart or the trolley when you’re finished shopping…

What the World Eats

what the world eats

This is a fascinating look at what’s on people’s dinner
tables across the globe.
Let’s face it. Americans eat a lot of hydrodgenated,
preserved, pre-packaged crap.

Ever hear of a Kelly Kettle? It’s a neat little
vessle for boiling water quickly. Looks like
something to add to the camping equipment
I think.

gather sunlight, it's free

Camping season is approaching for many of us. I love
to camp as often as I can. Cooking while on campouts
requires wood, charcoal or propane for those nice hot
meals. To conserve on these resources, why not try
using the sun to heat your meals next time? It’s free!
Check this out.

One-Pot Cooking

cooking with one pot

One-pot cooking used to be the exclusive domain of bachelors,
campers and college students just moved away from home.
Meals were quick, simple and often right out of the box. The
concept was great – just one pot to wash, but the meals could
be quite uninspired.
Here are a few variations on the “one-pot” theme, which broaden
the possibilities for creative cuisine, while maintaining the
simplicity and energy savings of one-pot cooking.

a firey onion volcano

My family and I just got back from a most
enjoyable dinner this evening at a wonderful
relatively new restaurant called Wabi Sabi.
The Teppan style dining is very entertaining
and the food was delicious. If you are ever in
Rancho Cucamonga, I would recommend this
dining experience to you highly. Dinner for
two adults and two kids was under $100.00.
We here at admit-one will be back!
