ARRL field day 2010

I hope to hear you this Saturday during the ARRL Amateur Radio
Field Day. This year we will be conducting field day from our old
faithful Blueridge campground in the Angeles National forest. I
will be leaving tomorrow and returning home Sunday. It’s going to
be nice. 73!

LDRS 29

I will be enjoying three days of LDRS and one day of RoCStock
this year out at Lucern Valley Dry Lake. Temps will be on the
warm side but it’s all about the rockets! If you can make it, do
try to attend for a day or two and camp out with me. You will
be amazed if you have never seen a high power rocketry event
before.

LDRS begins Thursday 6-10 and runs through Tuesday 6-15.
RoCStock runs concurrently on Friday 6-11 through Sunday
6-13. Both events are huge and together it’ll be rocket heaven.
I should be there Thursday through Saturday. Leave a comment
if you think you may attend and I’ll give you info on how to find
me.

By the way, LDRS stands for Large Dangerous Rocket Ships.

UPDATE

Here are four youtube links to some of the rocket launches including
the 4 stage comanche in the above photo. Enjoy

P.S. It was a great day and a half of rockets for me and KD6HDX.
