He should wear an ear protector, all of us should. This veteran knows what it means to be a true American, and that is knowing that Ted Kennedy should get a sock stuffed in his mouth. I love the “bull shit” protrectors. If that nut job ever decides to run for president I am going to sell those things on the black market.

Somebody goofed…he wore the “Bullshit Protector” during a speech not by Kennedy, but by Bush, as per:

The only problem is that the speech was actually given by Bush, as per Snopes.com (my #1 source for urban legend debunking)...this actually made the AP News, w/the caption as follows:
“Bill Moyer, 73, wears a “Bullshit Protector” flap over his ear while President George W. Bush, on screen at rear, addresses the Veterans of Foreign Wars at their 106th convention Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, in Salt Lake City. Moyer served in Korea and Vietnam, and in the post-WWII occupation of Germany.”
