cash cab
This game show is quickly becoming one of my favorites
on cable TV. Cash cab picks up unsuspecting patrons
and then gives them an opportunity to make some serious
money while being taken to their destination. All this
while being filmed for the show. Cab riders are asked
questions worth $25, $50, and up to $100 each as they
wield their way through the streets of New York.
The best part is if they screw up 3 questions, they get
kicked out of the cab right there on the spot. It is also
funny to see just how stupid some people are as the
questions are fairly easy to answer. Incidentally, Riders
pay no fare whether they win or lose so there is a minor
consolation for the dumb ones.
An interesting show to be sure, getting paid to take a
cab ride, if you’re smart enough!
